Who Are We?
Thirty-two years ago, on a beautiful starry night, two humans were born Sacha on an island in the South Pacific and Jake, surrounded by the mesmerizing mountains of upstate New York. While they were worlds apart, little did they know that their journeys would one day collide in the last place they expected the big city.
From a young age, Sacha was immersed in the wisdom of the Kanaks. He learned to love and appreciate Mother Nature through ancient traditions, stories, and, of course, by living so close to the ocean. Jake, on the other hand, grew up surrounded by forests, spending long summer days hiking for hours. Under his grandfather’s guidance, he discovered the medicinal gifts of Mother Nature in the form of flowers, plants, and trees.
What Is Shoresh?
What does Shoresh mean? Root (/ro͞ot/). What is the definition of the word 'root'? It is the part of a plant that attaches it to the ground or to a support, typically underground, conveying water and nourishment to the rest of the plant via numerous branches and fibers.
